From European design, we now move to the proudly New York-raised mattress company Nectar. Once viewed as one of the fastest-growing e-businesses in the US as well as a top place to work, Nectar promises a suite of different mattresses shipped directly to your door.
Nectar has similar foam technology to Puffy, and offers a wider range of mattresses. This expanded catalog will be the difference between Nectar and Puffy.
There are many types of mattresses available
Nectar has not 1, not 2, but 3 total mattresses available on its website for purchase, all with varying degrees of softness, plushness, and even material compositions. Although Nectar already has a clear advantage over Puffy in terms of the variety of options, it is still unclear if more choices will equal better quality mattresses.
Nectar’s original 12-inch Nectar Memory Foam mattress was their first mattress. This mattress comes with five separate layers, again similar to how Puffy designed its foam mattresses. The first layer of their mattress is their Nectar Smart Layer, a gel memory foam that helps alleviate pressure with its high-density construction.
The Nectar Smart layer is supported by two additional foams: the Nectar Dynamic support Layer and their Stay Stable Support Layer. These foams help stabilize your body as you sleep, minimize motion transfer, and keep the mattress on the base. All this is enveloped in Nectar’s quilted Cool Cover, which helps regulate temperature, and Nectar’s shift-resistant lower cover, which allows stability by acting as an outer grip to the bed frame. Casper had to be included. Casper was not included in a comparison of the best soft drinks. Despite Casper’s price point being a common comparison for newer brands, it remains one of the top choices for most shoppers when looking for a new mattress.

Types of Mattresses Available
Casper offers four options to choose from instead of Puffy’s limited selections. Three of the variants have two variations each. This means that Casper has roughly seven mattresses you can choose from depending on your sleep style and preferences.
Casper’s first mattress is a traditional foam mattress that uses two layers of foam for its total construction. This is Casper’s entry level mattress. It is known as the Element mattress. Casper’s Airscape perforated foam is used as the top layer on their mattresses. This allows heat to escape better while you sleep. Their high-density foam base is below this, which prevents sagging while you sleep and supports your entire body.
The Casper Original is next on the Casper catalog. The Casper original uses three different layers of foam now, the first being the classic Airscape foam, which is then supported by their Zoned Support Memory Foam and the standard base support foam.
